Allow remote working (11.4.3)

Széchenyi István University promotes flexible working arrangements through its Collective Agreement. The policy explicitly states that, for non-academic staff, alternative forms of work organisation may be applied, including flexible working hours, split working arrangements and home office work. The collective agreement contains a dedicated section titled “Home office work rules”, which regulates remote working within the University. The agreement allows both regular and occasional home office arrangements where compatible with job responsibilities. For partial home office arrangements, the employment conditions must specify the days on which employees are required to be present at the workplace, while occasional home office work may be approved by the direct supervisor on an individual basis. In addition, the University operates a flexible working time system for eligible employees, enabling flexibility in daily start and finish times through a defined flexible working hours framework.
