"Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all"
SDG 8 recognises the importance of sustained economic growth and high levels of economic productivity for the creation of well-paid quality jobs, as well as resource efficiency in consumption and production. It calls for opportunities for full employment and decent work for all alongside the eradication of forced labour, human trafficking and child labour, and the promotion of labour rights and safe and secure working environments.

Dr. Árpád Tóth, receives the Kalmár Prize from the Neumann Society
- Each year, the Neumann János Computer Science Society awards the Kalmár Prize in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of computer science. This year, Dr. Árpád Tóth, Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics, Finance, and Controlling at Széchenyi István University, and Head of the Economic Research Group on Digital Corporate Reporting at the Vehicle Industry Research Centre, was one of the two recipients of the prestigious award.
USA Accelerator Office Opens at SZE, Expanding Global Market Reach
- A USA Accelerator Program office has opened at Széchenyi István University’s Innovation Park, which will be one of the most important tools for businesses and start-ups to enter the US market, but will also support the expansion of faculty and student exchange programmes.
