Public access to green spaces (11.2.4)

Széchenyi István University provides permanent free public access to the green spaces and open areas located on its campuses. According to the University’s Sustainability Strategy 2022-2030 (Urban Green Spaces, page 9), the open green spaces across the campus are accessible to the public. The University maintains extensive landscaped areas and continuously develops its green infrastructure to support biodiversity, recreation, and environmental sustainability. Publicly available campus information and maps further support access to these open spaces for both the university community and external visitors.

In addition to green spaces, the University provides outdoor recreational and sport facilities that are freely available for public use. The outdoor basketball court, running track, and teqball table can be used by anyone free of charge.
